Privacy
We, TixforGigs, take the protection of your personal data very seriously and adhere strictly to the rules of data protection laws.
Personal data is only collected on this website to the extent technically and economically necessary. Data is only passed on to other direct contractual partners of the end customer. As a rule, this is the organiser of the respective event. In no case will the collected data be sold.
The following declaration gives you an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what kind of data is collected for what purpose.
Data processing on this website
In addition to the personal data collected via website forms, TixforGigs uses the open source software Piwik to optimise the website. The tracking data required for this is anonymised before it is analysed, so that no conclusions can be drawn about the specific user.
This data is not merged with other data sources.
Cookies
This cookie statement explains what cookies are, which cookies are placed and for what purposes the collected data is used.
What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored locally on the user's computer when they visit a website. This file stores data about the user's behaviour. If the browser is called up and the corresponding website is visited repeatedly, the cookie is used and provides the web server with information about the user's surfing behaviour with the help of the stored data.
In principle, a distinction is made between first and third party cookies. First-party cookies are not made accessible by browsers across domains. They are used to obtain meaningful reports about the visitors to a website.
A third party cookie is set by a third party, i.e. not by the actual website you are on. They are used to collect data for remarketing campaigns.
Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies every time you interact with us to store certain information, such as how long, how often or which categories you have visited. We use cookies to make it easier to identify customer interests and to process them systematically and more efficiently. In this way, we want to offer the customer a pleasant and clear online platform. Likewise, the use of cookies is also necessary for technical reasons for our online presence.
Third-party providers mainly use third-party cookies for web analytic purposes on our website.
Third Party Cookies
Third party cookies are those cookies that are used by third party providers by means of advertisements, targeting pixels or similar and not by the website operator itself.
These third party providers use third party cookies with us:
Deletion of third party cookies:
To deactivate third party cookies, please use the website of the third party provider or the settings of the browser. With Mozilla, for example, use the menu item "Settings" and then you can manage your cookies via the item "Privacy". With Internet Explorer, select "Tools" in the menu and then the section "Delete browsing history".
Use of tracking pixels
Tracking pixels are tracking pixels that are used to track user data. A user opens a website and the pixel is loaded. By loading or not loading the pixel, it is possible to track whether a user has visited the website or not. We can therefore help event organisers to assess their preferences of events or any events. In most cases, this assessment is based on tags that are cookie-based. Disabling them may therefore affect the way the website works.
Allow cookies through social media?
Social media cookies are used by us to allow you to share events you wish to attend with others on the relevant social platform. Likewise, social media cookies are used for advertising purposes. If you wish to turn these off, use the respective social media settings to control cookies.
Use of Flash cookies or local shared objects
Flash cookies work in exactly the same way as normal cookies. The difference is they are not managed by the browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox, but by the Adobe Flash Player.
These may or may not be used. They are used to process and store user data, for fraud prevention and support.
In the Flash Player settings, you can manage whether you want to block or, if necessary, delete the aforementioned cookies. You can access these via the control panel or the Flash Player website.
The limitation of the Flash Player can lead to some functions only working to a limited extent or in some cases not at all.
Handling of targeted advertising
We do not insert third-party advertising. However, event organisers or the relevant supplier offering tickets through our website may collect data. They then use this to suggest similar products or tickets that may interest the buyer.
Due to this, suppliers use cookies or tracking pixels to determine effectiveness and thus work in a customer-oriented manner.
Only with your consent, we and third-party providers can thus determine your name or other contact or personal details.
Updating the Cookie Policy
The Cookie Policy may change from time to time due to new features or changes to our cookies. We therefore recommend that you read the Cookie Statement regularly to keep up to date with any changes.
Newsletter
If you do not wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, simply remove the corresponding check mark in your profile. Alternatively, a short e-mail to us will suffice.
Right to information
You have the right to be informed at any time about the data stored about you, its origin and recipients as well as the purpose of the storage.
Further information
Your trust is important to us. Therefore, we would like to answer your questions regarding the processing of your personal data at any time. If you have any questions that are not answered by this data protection declaration or if you would like more detailed information on a particular point, please contact us at any time by e-mail at tach[ät]tixforgigs.com.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data. We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data from Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. You can find out more information about the use of data for advertising purposes by Google, and about setting and objection options on the Google website: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/ ("Data use by Google when you use our partners' websites or apps"), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads ("Use of data for advertising purposes"), http://www.google.de/settings/ads ("manage information that Google uses to serve ads to you") and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/ ("Determine what advertising Google shows you").
